Like other anons said it depends on location and can be a clambake. Hell some of the groups are very clique ish even to other girls if their dolls don't "fit". I've experienced both sides, my first meetup group was eccentric but friendly with a variety of dolls and enough people of both genders had vinyls to make it not feel weird. Just would like to point out that some people need to find this line and some self-awareness goes a long way to preserving those friendships. I was in the craft store, and they still had some stuff in their Christmas section for whatever reason, and there were wings for making tree angels. These ones were just the right size, so I sewed on a bit of felt for a back piece, and sewed some elastic loops onto that.

There's a trend right now for mohair/lambskin, alpaca, and bamboo fiber wigs which can all get fluffy in humidity. Easy enough fix though, as most of them can handle a spritz of water and hairspray. Here is a difficult pose that I borrowed from a fashion magazine with multiple angles. The body also came with extra hand parts, so that was really nice! Previous of the previous Picconeemo bodies (both S and D) had it to where you had to purchase extra hand parts separately. I was really worried about the body sacrificing the looks for increased poseability, but it still looks like a doll body and not a figure even in this pose.
