I thought his Melty Blood artwork was the best. It was a bit more simple, but the characters all looked fairly distinct and he used stronger shading lines back then. Now he only has two faces, the Saber face and the generic male face. Even as the quality has technically improved, overall it feels a bit worse and more generic than it used to.

I like his style very much, but not his priorities. To much Saber and Sakura, not nearly enough Rin. That's probably for the best, though.

It's shit.

Too much homogeneity. Hasn't really improved too much considering the amount of time he's been an artist and his vast resources. He lacks talent. Amusingly he was capable of creating somewhat more interesting designs before his technical abilities plateaued, whereupon he became considerably more lazy as an artist.

In regards to the homogeneity, people go on about Saberface and such (it's technically Hisui face, really), but that's not the only issue. He's extremely samey when it comes to hair and body proportions as well. Almost to the point where I think he might re-use the same couple of sketches over and over. Also, his new noses are fucking terrible. Just god-awful.
