Truthfully Alice has extremely bad corner defense in all the fighters she's in and it's also true that IaMP has little in the way of defensive options. In a higher level match once Alice gets thrown into the corner it's fucking difficult to get out.

Also the fact that patchy has bullshit tier spirit damage in IaMP so it's much easier to crush with her. Basically, surmounting factors. Also maybe the Patchy is just better, who knows. Hard to say just from this clip.

Patchouli is one of the lowest tier characters in that game. Allowing corner pressure in the first place is the shortcoming of the player. Taken damage from the same combo also decreases tremendously after a certain threshold.
