Sankaku is trashy booru, it's a fact. The most worrisome thing is how gelbooru went from "good tier" straight into "le what the fuck man xD" tier in just few months. Stability is not improved. More ads than ever. Ads pop up constantly. You have to configure your filters every few days just to make sure your eyes won't bleed like a 3yo vagina on her first dick. Pretty much every dollar from patreon goes into further degradation. Servers are somehow more responsive but I think it's overall userbase diminution and not conscious effort.

I'm considering using danbooru after years of being gelbooru fanboy. Hell, one time 20 bucks and having your tags and translations in order sounds far, far better than jumping on this ad-abomination of booru.

I don't think it's that bad. I use Danbooru for curated/translated stuff and Sankaku for everything else, because it has the largest amount of content and no ads. Gelbooru didn't use HTTPS until recently, and Sankaku's tag searching limit isn't a problem most of the time. In any case, it's always good to have alternatives.

By the way, you can disable auto paging.

It's shit, but I don't have to do extra work to make my adblockers work on Sankaku, as opposed to Gelbooru where there's always something slipping through.

When did this happen? I've had some images disappear sometimes, but that was due to an error in the way I blocked the ads. (It would filter the non-ad images due to a lack of case sensitivity)
