Post theories and try to elaborate on said theories, or support a theory if they don't have enough proof to make it a feasible theory.
Or, if you think a theory is wrong, you can challenge the theory and explain why you think it's wrong.
A theory that I can't prove or disprove is: Could Yumemi be Sumireiko's mother?
The only two pieces of proof I can provide are that both entered Gensokyo (and might be able to do it at their own will), and that both characters wear capes.
Gensokyo is a land of forgotten things.
ZUN both exists IRL and is implied to exist in the Outside World of the games. So it's implied Touhou is taking place IRL.
What happens as Touhou gets widespread popularity IRL? If everyone knows what Momji looks like but doesn't know who she is, does that effect her in Gensokyo? What about the people who seriously believe that Touhou is real?
I think Tojiko has a ghost vagoo!

>that pic and post
I think that yumemi is renko (in the same line that maribel is yukari) but she was transported to the future
>pic related was missed
Kasen, Yukari and the other Onis are all youkai sages along with a certain set of other youkais and they're the biggest players for team gensokyo

Really? When?

The barrier stops all reason, so yokai living in Gensokyo should remain unaffected by the faith Touhou fandom gives them, just like how they don't suffer from the lack of it.
Now if they crossed it, some of the popular memehus would probably grow extremely powerful.

Not him, maybe he meant how he addresses himself as the great Hakurei priest.

That's incredibly unlikely. Yumemi came from a world where the grand unifying theory explained everything, making it more likely for her to be from Maribel and Renko's ambiguous future than the present.
I prefer the idea that Yumemi is a pseudonym picked up by Renko later in her life.
