Actually, i've heard some of the fans sent some mails to the original devs wich weren't happy at all to see their game ruined in that way.
Let's be honest, Hippo completely ruined the game, terrible translation, removed dialogues from the events because "too much work", removed a fuckton of free stuff to jew it, added that terrible ranked system to jew it even more, bugs that they never cared to fix.
I don't know if it's real or not but, if it's true, i can't really blame the devs if they did it, if i were in their place i would do the same thing.

I could definitely see that, those devs have a reputation for caring about their game. The shit that SuperHippo did with it would enrage them as much as the players, doubly so since running them like the DMM side did would bring more profit to both parties.

The key thing to understand about Nutaku is that, when asked to choose between earning some money with minimal effort and considerably more money with more effort, they will always go for the former. Rather than a game company making investments to maximize their profits, they are by and large a "get rich quick" scheme and will go for the easiest option in every situation, even if the easiest option would earn them less money in the end. This is why, for example, they commissioned the horror that is Silly Girl instead of scouting artists from Pixiv like every cute girl collection game. They have neither the patience for nor any interest in developing their games.

The sad thing is not that Nutaku's games are failing due to their poor management, which is well-deserved, but that perfectly decent DMM games are being butchered up and offered alongside freakshows like Harem Heroes and Pussy Saga, and that devs with little to no input over or knowledge of the butchery are being blamed when their games inevitably fail.

Nutaku will implode one day anyway. Or they'll at least stop getting contracts for DMM games due to an irreparable reputation. Someone else can take over at that point, or maybe no one else ever will. But Nutaku's track record can't possibly instill much confidence in DMM game devs. At this point anyone who is still signing with them has no real interest in the English market and it just looking for a quick buck. Devs like the ones for X-Overd will start avoiding Nutaku completely.

I don't know how it's even possible to kill as many top DMM games as they have.

I just want an event where it costs a lot of stamina for one run, and can be easily completed on auto. The fact that it only costs 25 stamina and thus requires 3 fights to empty stamina for the hardest fight (not counting Ragnarok), along with the waiting for people to finish her off, makes it really tedious.

In his defense, it'd be nice if people could just farm on auto since doing the same runs over and over for a week only to repeat it the next event can get stale very quickly. However, the game is honestly just grinding. You begin the game grinding so that you can beat Expert/Ultimate, which you then grind for event SSRs to become strong enough to beat Ragnarok, which you grind so that you can get stronger and the cycle goes on. You're never really done until you reach the point where you have a grid of max Break Limited SSR attack passive weapons and maxed out team and eidolons, in which we'll reach the point where DMM is starting to release high-level content to challenge advanced players.

I can't wait for BL4 weapons to be introduced, along with skill levels maxing at 30 and weapons maxing at lv 200 along with bosses with 200+ mil HP that you need to fight in coordinated 6-man groups.

SSR ones usually have really good active effects. Apocalypse has Blind. Garuda gives you DA+ for three turns. Jor inflicts Atk Down that stacks with characters' abilities' Atk Down. Outside of event Eidolons, some gacha ones have even better effects. Fafnir gives decent Atk/Def UP to the party for two turns, Thunderbird gives a bigger chance of DA for one turn, and Behemoth clears a debuff from your entire party on use.

The trick is not not get roped in by any one particular game while being engaged enough to compensate for time spent.

You also have to enjoy the story/characters/gameplay (lol).

This game is even more boring than GBF. It's nice to play on the side but don't expect yourself to be able to play for more than 20 minutes at a time after your first few days of playing.

In terms of mechanics, Kamihime is also much more shallow than GBF. There are no different skill modifiers like Magna, Normal, or Unknown. Everything falls under one category so progressing damage is very linear as you just go for all of the same SR/SSR ATK+ weapons. Leveling skills is also grindier for no fucking reason, since the skill level cap is fucking TWENTY instead of ten, with each level increasing the % boost by 0.5 instead of 1.0.

You are better off just taking a break from GBF or something and try out another DMM or Nutaku game although I wouldn't recommend it since this Celestials is pretty important with the new update.
