honestly 2008 and 2017 perfume feels so disconnected to me so I can usually getting that feel but watching 2013 perfume is fucking depressing, it's not that far away and yet they're sound is so different and they still look young and fresh.

sweet refrain was december 2013 and the first picture of yuka look beyond tired was december 2014.

I have no doubt in my mind that cling cling was the exact point they needed to stop producing. gurun gurun should have been their lost tour in japan and world tour 3rd their very last tour.

the acting very poor, the plot is weak there are only 5 character 3 of which are perfume and there are only 2 episodes which both can be summerised as hikikomori thinks perfume hates him, perfume don't hate him, he isolates himself, they confront him and tell him how much they care about him. everything is okay.

for me personally it was great and ironically the worst acting were when they were pretty much just being what perfume used to be, 3 giggling friends who get a long and spend a lot of time together the other scenes are relitively good.

We're pretty much on auto-pilot now. I was hoping the drama would spark some discussion but it was only 2 episodes long. I'm not doing anything with my life at the moment just waiting for Yuka to retire from the party life so I can take her hand in marriage but that doesn't seem like it will happen in the next few years at least. So for the time being I'll always be in these threads.

We should seriously consider adding maybe CallMe into the mix and as the generals go on slowly push perfume out - it won't be the same but it will at least give us something to discuss/get excited for. I suggested this the last thread i think and while I was being ironic back then I actually think it might be the only solution.

something tells me perfume as a whole became woke around 2007ish. nocchi had pretty much done nothing but smile up until 2007, It's most likely that it was the whole no friends at uni and wanting to drop out thing but it could be the fact that they went from having a lot of input to have litrually no say at all. I wouldn't be shocked if they didn't want to be a techno pop group. yuka wanted to quit around electro world and it may be down to that.

not trying to imply that the sucked dick to keep the band going at all, I'd say they were one of the few bands that didn't but maybe it could have been that was a lot of frustration around the office, amuse had invested a lot of money into perfume and they even scrapped every other beehive group to focus on them and they wern't making them any money.
