Is Touhou your religion yet? How to gather faith?

Are you just baiting, or really that ignorant not only about Touhou, but Japanese culture in general? Touhou is not a religion. They had a huge fucking segment about the various religions in touhou, IN touhou. Back to /v/ with you.

No no, I realise that there are the various religions within touhou. This implies the following/worship of the parts of the multiverse which contain Gensokyo and the various entities within. Of course if one wishes to incorporate the particular religion involved with their their respective touhou that is acceptable. There are those within the touhou universe which don't necessarily adhere to or have a "real world" counterpart, and therefore some flexability should be allotted wince our understanding is still limited.

You didn't realize yet ? ZUN is in fact the prophet of a much wider religion. Gensokyo is a metaphor of our world, and the Touhou games are his Bible. In those games we follow Reimu Hakurei in her path to enlightenment. By making us play the games, he wants us to do the same rituals as her, in order to become true fidels. Only the one who 1cc lunatic every games can pretend to become a true Tohoist monk.
