I'm asian but live in the US. That's just to give an idea. There are many small bowls and of course they all vary slightly depending who made it. Japanese lacquerware is handmade and varies more. I forgot what they're called but there are small bowls with lids like in this Terajin picture that are common in Japan. >>16678311
