t-thanks gf chan...

>>16597244
i suppose i could. probably be better then buying some particle board gookshit.
again price is an issue
>>
Sit on a couch or chair with a blanket like a normal person and not a child or animal please.
>>
If you're a poorfag just buy a coffee table at ikea for your shit apartment. A real kotatsu will cost a lot. Also, don't be such a weeb.
>>
Does it really work in western apartment? You probably have some heating by default, and sitting under blanket will fry you.
>>
>>16597232
If money is an issue, then don't buy something you don't need.
>>
>>16597413
i don't own a table and i need a table to put shit on i wanted to get a kotatsu as an alternative to a regular coffee table
>>
You can buy the kotatsu heaters online and attach them to a coffee table. you also need a thick blanket.
Expect the whole thing to run you $2-300, unless you happy with cheap and nasty.

i have like $200 to buy a couch and table so this is doable after my next paycheck
>>
Just put a quilt over a table and burn some charcoal briquettes underneath, it's the comfiest thing ever.

make sure to close all the doors and windows in your house.
>>

Stop being poor as soon as poss. I'm a sensitive soul and it grieves me to think of a fellow chan guy having to scrimp and save in order to buy his shitty table thing.

I do this all the time, can confirm it's real comfy. You really do need to keep the windows closed to maintain a decent temperature though.

Please don't trick anons into killing themselves. Plus, CO is heavier then air so it sinks and it might kill anyone living below them. Supposedly.
>>
>>16597406
You could always lower the Thermostat setting (unless it is freezing).

Might still have to pay for heating though.

An electric radiator to heat the bath would probably diminish your savings though?
>>
>>16597540
That sounds more dangerous than leaving a fan on overnight.

Doing this in a closed envoirment with poor air circualtion leads to incomplete combustion, which produces CO, which is toxic. Worst part is you don't CO poisining until it's too late and there's no enough oxygen in your brain to take proper action. It's a very common suicide techinique (which is probably how everybody knows about it).
>>
>>16602153
Sorry, I meant how is leaving a fan on overnight dangerous. I'm from a place where doing this with all sorts of fan is pretty much the norm unless you enjoy being sweaty and sticky. 24/7.

Oh, that's a Korean superstition. They think leaving the fan on overnight somehow kills you (by sucking the oxygen out of the room??)
>>
>>16602162
How absolutely retarded.
