I liked burned girls because I like to see girls overcoming adversity, but in most of the media out there (both /jp/ and not /jp/) it's usually because MC helped them get over it, and I never like those because MC is usually an unlikeable character.

I think this comic had a twist that made it rather refreshing in that regard.

That said, despite having nothing at all to do with I just said, Sylvie is still a best.
