I tried using Plex with TLMC but it never picked up the .tta/cue files so I've been using Kodi to listen to them all.

I usually convert down to individual ogg/q8 files so I can't help you witht that. Plex is of course able to interpret flac, but I'm not sure about cuesheets.
In order to use Last.fm, you'll have to choose the respective user agent during library initialisation.
Keep in mind that, depending on the client, Plex will convert the audio to a different format, most prominently mp3, for compatibility reasons. The Android app, for example, suffers from this.

To be fair, some albums can be pretty hard to categorize into single genres as they're so varied, and not everyone wants to start listing every single type of style used in their presumably large album. Who would want to see, say, [Garage][Folk][Piano][8bit][Pop][Shoegaze][Unknown genre lol!] and other garbage in the filename? Some people aren't good at identifying subgenres in the first place too. Your best bet is to check out the preview thread on DS, ctrl+f the circle/album name, and go by whatever it's listed under there. If it's under various or not listed, listen to the crossfade yourself and see if you like it.

never mentioned that I stopped doing mp3-v4 and changed to m4a (apple-aac q73, around 144kbps) when I got access to a windows box as anything that can do mp3 can also do aac (this is slightly better than mp3-v2 for EDM)

The other memesite uploaders are fine, and I respect their reasons after having seen my one C91 self-rip propagate through all the cancer sites. I'd prefer ogg over opus since it's more compatible, but I don't blame them for trying newer formats.

Regardless, this will all be forgotten a few months from now. I doubt any of them are permanent residents or have the funds to buy this much multiple times per year.

However, I'm not RG'ing the rest of my music..because I'm satisfied with the quality as most of it is lossless.
If at some point you could re-upload the albums that you applied RG to, preferably in FLAC, then that would be fantastic.
I'm very grateful that you went through the effort to upload content..but it'd be better if you just upload everything as lossless so that the rest of us can transcode it to whatever format suits our needs.

Dunno man, I don't get the joke. It sounds pretty okay at 6 Mbps for 44.1Khz. Its quite fast to encode too. I'm surprised more people don't use it, its pretty decent and only needs 6 Mbps to sound transparent. Its better than just sending flac at 1.1 Mbps, you can play this in windows media player.
