First off, it sounds different; which is usually fine, since it's supposed to be a new version, but Luka, a vocaloid previously know for a deeper, breathy voice, has none of that at all now. She sounds lighter, her pronounciation is actually a lot worse than in the previous version , her tone is different, her voice seems to "break" a lot regardless of tuning, and she's just basically unrecognizable.

Keep in mind Dixie Flatline is a very talented, experienced producer and that's all he was able to pull off Luka V4. It doesn't even come close to any of Crypton's own other V4 vocaloids in terms of quality.

I have my music organized in folders by genre -> artist -> album. If I'm looking for a song, I better know the producer or it's a lost cause. The albums and songs are all in Japanese, but I'll include the most common romanization of the producer in the folder name so everything comes up in search.

learned Japanese. use foobar and foo_customdb custom SQL database to store extended data (such as ratings) in an external file as to not modify the original file. I set all songs I like to a rating of 5.

I keep everything I've already organized in its own Vocaloid\ folder, separate from the rest of my music.

for single artist albums i tend to use the artist's most prolific name, regardless of alias, and attempt to address which alias was used on the release if that was the case. example: %artist%[ %alias%] - %album%.

for song files, I only allow a pattern of nn. title.mp3. I try not to collect anything not compressed as LAME MP3 or lossy low bitrate encodes. nothing lower than V2 VBR is acceptable.

although it's a huge process, i'm also removing all "feat. %vocaloid%" from song tags and moving them to the comment field. thanks to VocaDB's CSV export i can actually do this on a per-track basis, and since foobar has extended search options, i can still search for any vocaloid voice bank and get a list of all the comment fields they appear in.

finally, and this should go without saying, no pig-disgusting romaji is allowed in my collection ever. Hatsune Miku is 初音ミク. Lunachu is るなちゅ. I found out years and years ago how stupid it is to be obsessed with a foreign language's music and not being able to even read it.

yep it's possible with foo_customdb. but the previous solution is probably better for you in the long run. i can only think of one way of being able to display romanized/unromanized tags in the same fields without modifying the files and it's a time-consuming, convoluted setup process that would eat way more memory than necessary. unless you have a terabyte of torrents to seed i'd personally just rather re-tag the copies.

I am not into the figure scene, but I know some of them can cost a good amount. If you only get the really expensive ones, you could probably spend a few hundred a month.

Dakis take up very little space when they aren't on a pillow. Virtual content takes up even less. Even physical discs don't take up much space and could cost you a decent penny if you need to import them and what not.

On a second thought I'm not sure whether you meant GUMI's design is ugly as a whole or just her official art. The official art is indeed awkward : http://i.imgur.com/TRlq6Vq.png especially the face and weird style, but GUMI herself has always been super top cute with a good design.

Ah right. Well as anon said BRS is nice for the animation aspect, and the cool designs. It's fun to watch all around.

Mikagura Gakuen Kumikyoku was too girly (as expected of Last Note.), watching it through the end was kind of a pain and this is coming from someone who always picks up 15+ anime every season.

Mekakucity Actors had nice visuals as expected of Shaft but was pretty shallow all around. Reminds me I should read the books sometime.
