R-Player Plus issues here. Once or twice during a video it will randomly start to judder for 5-10 seconds before resuming smooth playback. Happens when I'm not even recording, tried almost everything to fix:
-Unplugging capture card
-Different Video Card
-Different monitor
-Fresh driver installations
-HDMI instead of DVI
-Different OS
-Various refresh rates and settings

I had the same issue (I think), but sadly have to tell you right away that I haven't REALLY fixed it.

What worked for me was my Surface Pro 3. For some inexplicable reason, the R Player Plus works flawlessly on it.

To compare errors: I'd usually have those stutters appear after roughly 50-60 minutes of playtime both playing movies from an SSD and HDD, didn't make a difference. My SSD is pretty old, I'll get a new one around New Year's and then test RPP on my desktop again, but I doubt it'll make a difference.

I only know of one other guy here in /jav/ who uses R Player Plus and then there's PanKing from reddit (though he doesn't really rip anymore because his laptop is just not fast enough). You're right though, I haven't heard any of them report that problem, though it's weird that it affected both of us, which means it's not a totally isolated incident.

I also have to mention that I'd used the R Player Plus on my desktop for three months or so without a problem before that issue occurred, which makes it all the more confusing.
