I'd say so. Puchidols have a specific style to them that you can easily identify that they're specifically a Puchi, as opposed to drawing something something cute/chibi any other way.

I watched some Nico Nico Chou Party recently. I started with the #5 (2016) since when it was linked last thread, which I really liked. Then watched #4 (2015) a few days ago which I may have liked than #5 more, if only for the finale which I took me by surprise and which broke my kokoro.

Just watched the #3 from 2014 just now, it was fun but rather short (just 30min). Didn't feel as impressive as the other two I watched but I still enjoyed it. Looking forward to 2012 and 2013 now.

Truth be told I've been into Vocaloid for quite a long time now but never been interested about concerts, now I'd like to keep on correcting that. Planning on watching The End afterwards; what are other concerts/live events I should be adding to my plan to watch list? Mirai concerts? Is there a reliable list somewhere?

It's mostly Miku, yes, but Rin and Len usually get 3-4 songs between them, Luka gets a couple, and Meiko and Kaito always get one as well.

I guess that's because the Cho Party concerts are, how do I put, kinda fan made? You know, like they use MMD, and the choreographies are made by odorites and such.
Anyway, there's not any other "non-official" concert that's worth watch besides the niconico ones, so that list is fine.

I'm willing to bet a lot of songs that do not appear as such as first are like that in reality.

The obvious ones that come to mind would be Leia and Reon; while I'm obviously not into Yuppe's head, having been one of my favorite artists I can say most of his songs in 2009-2011 especially appeared to be him using Luka as a muse as a way to express his depression and torments. Leia ended up being the cherry on the cake.

But perhaps you didn't exactly mean that kind of relationship and just meant song that openly treat of the relationship between a Vocaloid and the producer in a non-ambiguous way? Either way if I think of any others I'll post them.

I have a strange request that I doubt will be fulfilled but I'm trying anyway. I am looking for some Vocaloid manga in raw (i.e. Japanese) :

I read the entire Shiryoku Kensa (シリョクケンサ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aB-pIUzPB-I) manga this weekend and now feel on a roll to read more Vocaloid manga, sadly finding complete scans of those seem to be a huge pain.

Other Vocaloid manga I managed to get (but am still unsure whether they're complete or not) :

Pretty much all of them are adaptations of Vocaloid songs (google the titles). Got GUMI from Vocaloid next to read which is complete. Yes I can read Japanese, I'm the anon who translated the doujin earlier.

It also has a few I didn't mention, like Mikagura Gakuen which I didn't take since I did not particularly like the anime adaptation that aired a few years back.

You know, you could say that about other producers too. 40m songs sound samey, Deadball songs sound samey, kemu songs were pretty similar too - to an extent at least, and probably 8#Prince songs too.
It doesn't stop me from liking them though.

Like you said there are other artists who do that to me, like Last Note for example, though ultimately I still like them all.

Well to each their own yes, it'd be boring if we all felt the same about everything. I'm pretty sure there are people out there who finds some of my favorite artists "samey" to take your words or "dull" too.

I still make it a point to make the effort to regularly dive into a new artist's discography while trying to ignore any "a prioris" I might have though. I think liking towards an artist is something that sometimes needs to be cultivated, as artists aren't all as easily approachable.

I'd be surprised if his contract limits him to being exclusively for collabs with Reol. That would sound like him agreeing to have himself neutered for the time being, considering he knows that there are other singers out there doing covers of his songs. Besides, Toy's Factory or whatever their label is called has other singers under their wing, and it would make sense for them to make him write songs for those guys, too(albeit in a smaller scale relative to Reol). If anything, I'm expecting him to be exclusive to their label for the duration of their contract, although that still doesn't sound like he'll be making any Vocaloid content soon.
