I'm starting to think that there's a number of people who always buy the new vocaloids, just for the sake of having it, and maybe producing some covers, and those are the people who sustain the market and the reason for companies keep releasing new vocaloids that won't become popular.

I've made a breakthrough in my learning curve for the Diva F/X games.

I prefer no hitsounds but can't seem to manage tougher songs without using them to find the sweet spot in the rhythm, but then it makes clearing songs and parts I already have nailed down either a tad harder or make no progression ("l'll either hit more goods and safes than cools or result is roughly the same")

Then I got around to using both. Alternate between hitsounds and w/o and I dramatically got better, using w/o hitsounds that is. I'll end up clearing or getting better results without them because in the end, hitsounds are a little distracting to nail down some parts.

Tell me guys, how do you guys get better at Diva games?

I do something similar, but I just play music on shuffle in general and I'll be lucky to get a Project Diva song. But not matter how many times I could listen to Luka in Ai Dee, it's not fucking easy. Let alone Len's song in Diva X.

Am I the only one who thought Diva X's song list sucked? A lot of the songs were literally who's and Len got one song and a mix. Probably biased because i'm a Lenfag. But I didn't like the Miku songs either that much.

Nah, I'm total opposite. The tracklist was great for me. But it was the lack of other than Miku songs that was bad, and the fact the tracklist is fucking small as hell.

They're more than half the tracklist right there. And Toa's Patchwork Staccato is probably my favorite track out of the game. The songs they chose for the rest of the cast wasn't bad either. There hasn't been a total-turnoff song besides the ones in the classic cloud.

Lenfag here too, I actually don't mind the track list. The others besides Miku could have got a few more songs, true, but nearly all the songs are at least enjoyable (compared to FT where it feel like it's 50% fluff - don't get me wrong though, it's still easily the better game).

Medleys are great (especially Chaos amd Beauty), Kagamine songs are all good (Amazing Dolce is nice, Seisou Bakuretsu Boy and Lost One's Weeping are awesome), Slow Motion is a lot of fun, and Patchwork Staccato is a pleasant surprise. Definitely could use a few more songs, but the track list is really solid.

I don't think you're going to accomplish anything by actively working on improving your accuracy. I think accuracy naturally improves over time as you home reading and reflexes. X is nice because it has some charts with random notes, either by itself as extreme challenge or in the 3 item challenge. I think those are the best to play. I wish it was a mod in free play.

The shaders they used in this one was a lot better than the first two videos imo. The slightly flat look helps sell the illusion of 2d in 3d. The open back is a tad low, but it's undeniably sexy. Personally, I'd say you can't beat ksk model, but that's cheating.

Not always. I feel it is more interactive thanks to the livestreams and the flying comments as well as multiple mmd models, but I the music production isn't the best imo. Plus the mmd models are all different, while crypton and 1st place is consistent.

We were working on asking someone's age this week, and were working with partners. We each had a sheet with ten people on it, but only half of them had their ages listed. We each had the opposite halves. We were asking each-other how old each person on the sheet was. The teacher had used Miku as the first person on the sheet. As it's a beginner class there's a lot of emphasis on politeness and manners, and I accidentally referred to her as "Miku" rather than "Miku-san" when I asked my partner how old she was.

As of today my folder has 3950 different illustrations, not counting memes and doujins. I believe I have a bunch of Vocaloid wallpapers in my wallpaper folder too but I've yet to organize that one so I believe it's safe to say I have 4000 Vocaloid pictures.

Anon who asked the question here, a bit surprised how a lot of you exclusively collect Miku, didn't expect this. She'd be proud.

As for me I have folders and images of all of them (even "who" Vocaloids/UTAUs this place seems to dislike), but Luka, Yukari, Miku and GUMI are leading. I can't say exactly how much each have since I'm still in the process of organizing my whole mess. Ultimately Miku will have more than others simply because there is that much quality stuff of her around though.

If I recall correctly someone over a Vocaloid forum (VO) was complaining about how MMDs would portray Vocaloid in a too sexualized way and they went on posting a GUMI one to prove their "point". Video was pretty much GUMI in the middle of a room dancing, camera was turning in circle around here I believe. The lights/ambiance were dark blue/purple. I have no idea anymore what the song was. I don't have over 1000 pictures, but I use a crappy database file and visual studio program to categorize my pics based on source style and lewdness.
It's not as practical as it sounds because I can't into programming.

ーI have a folder for each Vocaloid, and folders for pairings I like. Anything else is below.
"- UTAU" has also its own subfolders for my favorite UTAUs (Yufu, Teto, ...); works the same way as the Vocaloid folder.
ーThe folder next to it is for Halloween-style Vocaloid images. I might do a Christmas one.
ーThis is overall a still a work in progress (I don't have a folder for Gakupo yet for example, and also plan on making a GUMI x Gakupo one, etc).
ーNot all files are put in their respective folders nor all renamed as they should yet.

While this is just how I do things I think people who've replied to you are doing more or less the same thing.

Within a particular folder (GUMI).

Subfolders are simply multiple images posts as you can sometimes find them on pixiv. Given you posted a picture from there I assume you know what I'm referring to.

I don't have lewd GUMIs yet but given I end up having some I make a "- R18" folder within the GUMI folder as to not have them mixed with pure ones.

More or less manually, it's just a matter taking 2 more seconds or so upon downloading something, but I also use a program named Advanced Renamer for the more daunting tasks which makes the whole thing much easier to do so it's not as psychotic as it appears.

Piapro filenames are left as-is, for pixiv and seiga I have an addon that marks and saves them as "artist - title - id".

I had tried various pixiv downloaders in the past and always ended up being disappointed, main problem was that they would always fail in downloading pictures in their best quality, especially when contained within multiple images submissions (even if they'd specifically tell you they were supposed to do it). Have you had any problems regarding this so far?

Ah, there's a "Download original size manga" option which was unchecked by default. Just tried it around and it works perfectly it seems. Thanks again, I'm grateful.

Files within a "manga" are just named "01", "02" etc. Is there a way to give them the name of the folder itself and add something like "(01)" next to them? If not that's fine as I can just do so in a few seconds with Advanced Renamer but if possible that'd be perfect.

Very rarely some files failed to download, I think it happened on Seiga.
I don't know if it was the case, but there were times the addon broke, maybe the sites changed something. Had to download it from github to get it working again.

If you want to name multi-image ones, removing the slash from the template might be what you're looking for, though you won't get the subfolder this way.
