Do people really buy idolm@ster accounts for super rares? I see these for sale but I dont really understand.

A lot of those accounts have a lot of money sunk into them. Not only do the sellers (who are usually retiring mobage players) want some sort of return on their investment, but you can get a really good set of cards that would normally cost you a lot of money for a bargain price.

Of course, they'll soon all be obsolete in terms of gameplay, if they aren't already.
