道の駅 are so nice. I love trying the local foods there.
About time you nerds made another one of these threads.
Now get fuckin' busy posting.
>>16003662

Dead fucking thread.
Stop the slack and get to work, losers.
>>16012904
This is China.
>>16003283
I live here. I will post more OC if someone can tell me the anime where a girl corners a guy in a stairwell and rubs his beard saying jori jori jori.
>tfw someone reposts one of your images
>>16011586
Do you like trains?
I do.
>>16013563
Nice repost!
>>16013747
A good chunk of these threads are always reposts.
>>16013005
"no."
>>16013040
Stop holding your OC hostage.
>>16013585
Trains are cool.
>>16016769
This is Portugal.
>>16016828
With the purple street car?
lol Nope.
It is Kyoto.
>>16016828
Why would a Portugese tram have Japanese writing on it?
The destination plate says Shijo-Omiya which is a train station in Kyoto.
>>16016838
>>16017245
Only Portugal has those street trains.
>>16017346
That is very wrong.
Kyoto obviously does. I mean, shit, that is where I took the picture. I have never even been to Portugal.
San Francisco and even New Orleans have street cars too. Probably numerous other cities.
>>16017358
You've never been to Kyoto, weeb. Stop daydreaming.
>>16017418
You sound super jelly.
>>16016769
That's a tram.
>>16017423
Not really.
>>16017451
Embrace your inner weaboo, anon.
Come live in Japan.
>>16017473
Is there any specific information I need to know for taking photographs there. I will be there next year and I use a DSLR.
>>16017458
I can't, man.
I don't speak the Japanese. Fuck.
>>16017508
That is the perfect excuse though.
Find an intensive language program and come study for a year.
>>16017508
You don't need to speak Japanese to teach English, but you can always learn Japanese while teaching English.
I keep reasonably low on how much Japanese I actually know around my students, which makes things really amusing when I show I can read some kanji, or use Japanese words to prompt them for English.

It's like going to Africa and calling people niggers.
Morioka.
>>16018056
I was going to be posted in Morioka originally before being put in Fukushima.
Snow there already? Probably going to get some snow on the mountains around Fukushima soon judging by the way the temperature is going. I need some more clothes.
>>16018048
I'm calling you a weeaboos because you're clueless.
Teaching English in Japan is a dead end job only the most desperate of EOP weeaboos go for.
>>16018146
>dead end job
>admitting you aren't knowledgeable
>>16018146
most people on 4chan are probably working dead-end jobs
>>16018212
Wait till your shitty eikawa throws you out to make place for a new sucker.
>>16018146
>>16017458 here. I never said to go teach in Japan, the other anon did.
But yea, ALT's get shit pay and even worse job security.
If you get a graduate degree and teach at a university it is better, but you are still a step below someone teaching a real subject.
>>16018240
What do you consider a real subject?
>>16018269
Pretty much anything other than ESL.
They are pretty much second class citizens.
>>16018146
>Teaching English in Japan is a dead end job
No one suggested you should do it indefinitely. For most people it is a way into Japan and you move on to something else after a couple years.
>>16018282
Are the bigdaikon stories on that one blogspot fabricated or exaggerated?
>>16018141
No snow anywhere man. I'm in Tokyo at the end of a 14 day trip and only just got some rain last night. Even places that I thought may have been cold I got sunburn. Senzu at the oigawa sl train run for example
Yo...
So where are the fuckin' photos?
>>16020251
I have no idea what that is.
>>16020784
my dick is very famous in japan. they call it the big radish.

it was one of the greatest websites for trolls, weeaboo trolls, and JETs whining about how horrible japan is and how they wished they never went t ojapan, till the get home and wish they were back in japan.
the stories were amazing. the users had the best handles, and the trolling was legnedary.

Now i have an awesome viee of an ugly ass apartment complex.
>>16022925
I wouldn't mind going bank in time, killing the person that is responsible for this crap. I can't believe someone actually would accept life in this box.
>>16024351
People need a place to live.
>>16022925
Do you live in a house that was built hundreds of years ago?
>>16017473
>>16017479
Where is this?
>>16025165
No.
It's like 10 years old.
Does have a tatami room though.
>>16025604
Then you're in no position to be complaining about a new residential building.
>>16026364
It is a house built in a classic style.
Not a stucco walled apartment.
Not everything has to be 200 years old, most houses here are rebuilt every 25 years or so anyway.

Have any of you read Alex Kerr's Lost Japan? It touches on this quite nicely. His second book also has some good points, but a lot of it falls victim to his blind rage as well.
>>16029474
I have that book, haven't read it yet though.
Was given it for Christmas.
