You get to decide whether the rape is actual rape or not, if the brainwashing is actual brainwashing or not, and to what extent the descriptions in their profiles are accurate or not.

There may be a canon as dictated by KC, but in the end that canon is so vague that you can take it as you like it. Not just deciding how it works for yourself and what happens to you, but the broader setting is however it needs to be for your fantasies to be satisfied.

That entire post is irrelevant because everyone has their own headcannon anyway. People CHOOSE to discuss KC canon because it's an actual objective common point of reference.
