I really wonder why it is that twintails only look good on Japanese, even ugly ones. I thought it was just because western females are ugly and unfeminine, but the hairstyle fits even the ugly girls on that site. The only type other race women seem to be able to pull off are twin braids. It's like that with straight bangs too, which I only really see working on asians and blacks, despite being pretty common for white anime ojousamas.

Young relative to what? Western kids don't really look good in them either. Also every 16 year old looks "like a 25 year old" because there's little difference between them. If they "look 12" then, they're going to "look 12" at 25, if they "look 30" then, they're going to "look 30" at 25.
