I learned about them just a few weeks or months before they changed the lineup. I now own hardcopies of most of their CDs. The tone shift from the disco highs of Aviator/Boogie Aroma to the ennui of Mirage was jarring but I could see how they were making some steps towards it in Carta.

I just wish they would release some footage of their new live performances with the 3 member set. Everyone they perform with praises them a lot.

Same, I only found them earlier in August and September and I'm slowly making my way through their discography, listening to all the singles and their b-sides and albums in their release order, while also listening to their last few albumless singles. I'm really into them.
the MV for their new single dropped just today, I quite like it
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8lx0vLTH_yg
But otherwise I just finished listening to the Sen to Rei single for the past week and am on Shin-shiro right now, gonna listen to it 10 or so more times in full then move on to the next release. Really dig their progression.
If I had to pick 2 from each album so far;

Surely the Japan board knows better than the Music board how stupid it is to group music discussion by country and nothing else. Is this thread in this state because the 2hus will raid your thread otherwise, like every other general seems to be?

I remember that the ending had some dude cumming with a cartoon-like splat sound

Pretty good. Flowers of Romance kind of felt similar to 100 Years of Choke and the different version of in Silence was nice. I feel like I've heard the Girl song somewhere before but I can't place where.

This album is good but I don't really like it as much as Retributive justice. Lots of great individual tracks though, more wanky guitar parts and more ambient elements. I just can't stomach hour long albums regardless of genre but it's especially bad with metal. The preceding one was more to the point.

There is a lot of good taste in this thread. This is one of my favorite groups.

Would anyone offer to make a youtube playlist of all the videos posted, with tags? So we can still look up the artists after most of the links are inevitably taken down

The math-rock vibe is not my cup of tea, first album was better, but that's still cool.
