The CC/AW icon update looks nice, and I got all excited when they displayed AW costs on the selection screen but for some reason they're displaying class icons here but they didn't even bother to show them on the actual AW orb screen.

I had previously played a few of 'first gen mobage' genre but those weren't R-18 rated and had everything voiced. The characters were relatively interesting for me. But last DMM releases are your generic 'High school' setting like there isn't enough of that out there.

Yeah, it's not an issue in story quests yet, but the dailies really start to hurt at 4+ and I only have Lisette(?) at lvl 36. So my only black is non -costed Hibari (started playing just on her event).
I like her a lot and she is MVP of my army but would i regret awakening her? It seems like she becomes much better being able to block 3 units, but on the other hand cost is going even higher.

She's a fine unit, great supplement to the Spica/Bashira core that many players have since her AW ability is 10% attack to the bow classes when deployed. She also brings ranged, multi-target assassination to the table, but her SAW is a Sabrina-style triple shot with a low multiplier, so it won't hurt super-high armor targets if you can't instakill them (well, same with Nanaly and Rion really, and these are still excellent units).

She'll do very good work against flying units and swarms, especially if they lack assassination resistance.

This is greed alright, but on part of the developers rather than DMM itself. And make no mistake, this kind of thing is the norm rather than the exception when it comes to browser games, which is why Kancolle, Aigis, FKG etc. are admirable for making it possible to do most anything in the game without burning your wallet.

This is also why Nutaku gets a lot of hate, they're trying to be DMM's EN portal while also "developing" games that are perfectly fine on their own to be as awful as possible.

Firefox does Aigis the best, Chrome does it ok while occasionly needing a refresh to start the game.
FKG is best on Chrome, in Firefox it loads the game in a quarter of the box but otherwise fine.
I use Chrome just for these 2 games and firefox for everything else.

Just started on DMM Aigis. Found some new things I have never seen before.
What is up with sapphire units? How are they placed in the rarity scale? Why did I get pic related in the mail? Is she any good?

Sapphire units are from serial codes bundled with outside merchandise. Power-wise, they're somewhere around Plat. Maybe a bit lower.

Swordmaster Meteor is an event handout, for all players registered before a certain date. 2nd time it's happened, to my knowledge. Think of her as a melee slot with Aisha's skill. Problem is, the timers are incredibly long, so she's not very useful unless you have time to setup.

Those are Algerias, fairies that give 18k exp but only work on Gold units. Cannot be used with other fairies, so no 8x multi. 1 Algeria can take a pre-CC Gold from lv1 to lv50.

Has anyone had any issues with Aigis timers on refills since the update? For various reasons, I've had to use a new computer today, but I'm still running in Chrome. For 2/4 popped crystals today on stamina and one on charisma, I've seen that my timer hasn't actually started to tick down until I was somewhere in the middle of playing a map, instead of when I started it. It's caused my stamina timer to move up about 10 minutes today already. On the last one, I finished the 12-stam Anya map and got back to the menu to see that it had only been running for maybe 30-45 seconds (stamina timer at 59:xx). I'm wondering if this is the effect of the new patch to give back half of your charisma/stamina on lost maps. Anyone else seen behavior like this today?

You don't need to worry about her defense too much. AW1 Hibari has only 52 less defense than CC55 Leeanne with more HP and attack and the same block, plus the ability to hit multiple blocked targets. Any half-assed attempt to level an AW1 unit will bring her up to Leeanne's defense or higher almost immediately, and Leeanne is frankly a pretty good heavy since the silver ability update. If you can use Leeanne on a map, which you can on most, you're better off using AW Hibari on the same map, so long as cost allows. She's obviously no Deine, but she's a perfectly viable heavy replacement, as far as her defensive capabilities go. And that's not even counting using her immediately available skill.

Puppeteers are situational since you can't heal them the normal way. Ninjas and Mage Armors are great, but they're not really for new players usually. Most of the low rarity Ninjas are ass, and the two good f2p ones are Event Blacks (one in the Trading Post for 300 DC, the other you have to wait for her revival). Those 300 DC are generally better spent buying Spica, then AW Fairies. Mage Armors are absolutely amazing too, but you they generally can't replace a Heavy Armor early on unless you roll Grace (Gacha Black), or that one tsundere Defensive Plat Mage Armor.

Dragon Knights are good. Nadia especially is absolutely bullshit. The other Gacha Plat one is good too though.
Bishops are strong enough that a lot of people just don't use Mages ever. They're essentially a Mage with higher range, and you can use them to heal in an emergency. Also the fact that there's an Event Black Bishop and a Star Trial Plat Bishop means most people have two great Bishops for free (one of which would be mincost/maxskill if you were around for her event).
Angels are good as well with their ridiculous stats in comparison to their cost. And if you level their skill they can be up like 70% of the time anyways. Probably close to 80% if you have an AW Rear Strategist.
Other than that, the important classes that aren't in the main core classes that you start off with, would probably be Necromancers for Skellington spam (really only need one, Metus), Rangers (which are basically Archers with Traps anyways). Rune Fencers, and Priest Warriros. Most other classes are either situational or can be replaced with something else generally.

Most likely, another half-year contract was expiring in September, and Nutaku just assumed that they could change terms to let nutaku be in control. And obviously when DMM team heard of it, they told gaijins to fuck themselves.

Rikka with her ranged true damage is must-have, spend some SCs when her daily revival arrives.

This is Dayflower's skill flower, you fuse it to her to increase her skill level.

Keep resetting the gacha to get her skill and slot flowers, as well as event equipment (which provide very solid stat boosts early on and, once level maxed, are invaluable for whale and ultimate teams). There are only a few days left for the current event, but you should be able to do a fair bit because the "key" items are likely to be in the upper part of the box.

They're life crystals, so literally wherever you can get those. Event maps drop a good bit of them.

No specific map just for lifecrystals, but you can still farm them consistently.

Very latestage ultimate missions guarantee 4, completing them gives 80. I doubt you can do these since it requires a fully leveled team.

All event maps that cost 50 stamina or greater(map 3 and 4 of both parts) give 5-6 with a bonus chance for extra.

Lastly, there is the challenge stages, which I like to call them, that require a specific team compositions like all solar drive girls, skill up girls etc. Those give around 3 at the later missions.

The easiest to grind of course are the event missions, and since there's always an event mission available you can always grind them.

Strange leveling system extremes in this game. N and HN girls are pretty worthless for leveling up your team, while Rs easily let you jump through levels, even more so for HR and SRs. Additionally fusing same copies will easily get anything from level 1 to level 35+.

Well, at least for leveling units, unless you want to level them fast, it's not that bad. I've been doing the dailies for rubies, and then using those to get R units as fodder.

You can clear the dailies up to stage 4 without much sweat as long as you got one unit at 30+ (which you should if you did pre-reg). If you sell the N/HN you get from ruby gacha, you can do about 10x 11rolls and should get a few Rs in the process.

On both Nutaku and DMM, I did Katie first. I don't regret it. The extra defense and HP really help since she's almost always one of the first 1-3 units you drop in a map.

But yeah, I'd do like the other anon suggested and go with CC-like priority. Work on getting one of each major class (soldier, healer, heavy, archer, witch, mage) in whatever order you think is best. Pay attention to AW passives and consider giving priority to ones that boost all units in a class if you're using more than one of them (so likely Spica/archers is a top priority since she also boosts Bashira's attack).

Not to mention the devs are extra generous and give good reason to level the common units, since affection rewards are per character, and you can farm infinite amounts of rainbow crystals. With a full day of stam currently, you can probably get around 3 crystals a day.

Anyone else having (or had in the past) an issue with DMM FKG where hitting the Quest button causes the game and audio to stutter? Once I'm there, none of the tabs cause this behavior, nor do any of the other side buttons. It only happens when I click the Quest button itself. Clearing my cache didn't help, and it doesn't do this on Nutaku FKG either, only DMM.

Holy shit the event Rare's skill is incredibly broken. I just put her right at the opening, and have all the SR ranged units target said square, along with the SR melees just beside that they're close enough to activate their skills, go to Settings and turn everything On (including autocast), and then I just sit back and watch enemies kill themselves doing absolutely nothing.

About the event stamina refill lattes, do they disappear at the end of the event?

Normally, no. Events and giveaways will quickly hand you more dragons than you can use, such that your storage will become the bigger problem. But a single flower stone is a drop of water in the ocean for FKG, and we're under two different flower stone campaigns to boot. If you're unlucky, it's perfectly fine to use a stone to evolve a girl before the end of a fairy day.

Gold is farmed from the gold rush map (available everyday) and the more lucrative gold boost map (available on Saturday). In addition, the event stages usually give you enough to get by if you aren't evolving a lot of girls (though since you're just beginning, you probably are doing that), and there are monthly 1.5x gold campaigns. There are people who drop ~4-5 flower stones on the gold boost map during that time for ~1mil of profit, you may want to do that if you'd like.

As an aside, looks like Strelitzia is Rosemary's benefactor rather than rival. I was expecting the latter, but this is cute too.

Yep. The chance for a gold there is ridiculously small. Much lower than getting a black from premium. And the chance for a plat is lower still.

Cypria will get 90% dodge with skill once SAW I think. Rogues can be fun. No one would take her before Cellia though, her fairy boost passive is huge and she's a fantastic HP tank with MR that supports your team defensively while sporting decent damage.

I think they are all good, but you should focus on bashira first, a good archer can help in almost all maps.

If your Lolonee is mincosted, evolve her after bashira, since she get bonus damage against armor enemies, she is good for daily quests or cleaning those missions full of platinum armors rushing you.

Cypria fully maxed is also good, but I never get lucky enough for her skill to kill monsters when I need.
