And whether we can make it even more fun will depend on how much we devote ourselves to it. And to encompass these hopes, I choose "To devote."

It's so vague, when she announced her goal is "to devote", my immediate thought is that she's had her eye on someone for 2 years and now they've established a relationship she can devote herself to, but then she goes on to literally just talk about Perfume and putting all her energy into Perfume. Like she talks about those regrets like maybe she wasted time chasing a relationship that eventually fell through...? It almost sounds like she's resigned to the fact she's destined to remain an autistic, loveless, childless, dancing puppet for a soulless corporation, and if that's the case she might as well go full steam at that and try to make the biggest success of it she can.

Am I interpreting that wrong? Maybe I'm being an autist myself and completely misreading something that is obvious... I'm making myself sad.

Risky opinion: I'm not a fan of Nee, the way they say "nee" over and over so high pitched grates my ears (similar to Chocolate Disco). Because of this I once experimented with altering the pitch, and because of that found altering the pitch of most of their songs just a little tiny bit, to varying degrees, makes them a little more palettable to my western ears. That's sacrilege, I know, but I must admit if I ever exposed my power level and had some friends listen to their songs, I'd be tempted to lower the pitch for them...

That was me, I nostalgia tripped while looking through my folder of random Perfume clips and have been on a bit of a webm making kick.

I also posted a clip from Nee towards the bottom of the thread. There's barely been any responses to them though, I guess since Perfume pale in comparison to some of the more intense dancing in that thread (makes sense when a single dance they do can be one of many during a two-hour show).
