2nd of 3 albums arrived earlier today!

Unlike Obscure Questions, I already knew most of the tracks going in here. New stuff was good, unsurprisingly. Find I really like Kanashimi wa Aijou no You ni. Very relaxing melody. Favorite song overall is Viva Happy, but EAZY DANCE and Age Age Again come pretty close.

Also, yeah, Obscure Questions was really good. Took a few listens for a lot of the tracks to 'click,' but now I'm quite happy with it. Mushroom Mother is probably still my favorite from it. I like Sukisukisuki... more than I should, but it's such a fun listen.

Formaly the Sign says only IA and Cevios (so her sister ONE and Sasara most prominently). However I think no one minded some Yukari presence there.

In Vocaloid (jp) fandom, currently two major blocks have crystalized themselves. On the one side you have the classic loids centered around Miku consisting of Crypton+Internet (Gumi)+Utau(Teto). The other block is centered around Voiceroid with Yukari as main character and having tie-ins to Cevio. The pairing IA+Yukari predates the popularity of Voiceroid, it developed for aesthetic reasons and because neither of them had a suitable in-house partner (like Miku+Luka within Crypton).

At this point i would not be surprised about a future IA talking application, but its doubtful if cevio gets the quality jump it needs for that or if AHS was to make a colab with 1st Place. The core fandom might also not be big enough to warrant taking either risk.

I've got like 80 hours into Future Tone and I only just now realized that sometimes there are multis where only one button is a hold note.
This changes everything.

I actually think this is the best selection of songs out of X and the F games. For once, I can play random and actually enjoy the outcome. I'll admit the neutral cloud has the weakest bunch though.

It's just that the vast majority of people that buy into these phones are not going to be using headphones or files that actually benefit at all, it's like buying a 120hz monitor to play xbox on.

You don't need to necessarily have it at full volume. Even 50% is still louder than full not-DAC.
Having it as an option is great because the better the headphone, the more power they need to sound good, and also music sounds better louder.
For the people using their little $20 IEMs from Best Buy, sure, not gonna make a world of difference for them, but there's a type of person who wants and needs these features. The DAC and ridiculous camera were the selling points for me on this phone and I use them both almost every day, but just because I'm in the minority of users doesn't mean the features shouldn't exist.

Like you said it's all very subjective but I think I could recognize a good song when I see it, I only liked Sugarvine from last year but that's because I follow Dixie Flatline on social media.

The thing about JBF is that it hit my soft spot, I love electronic ballads which is a genre I could listen to all day, lyrics are good, not too mopey but a breakup song nonetheless and the PV was perfect, so it's a mix of things that make it my favorite song.

You don't need to play the games, but their song lists are condensed into albums easily found on the internet. I consider it to be a very entry level collection, with popular songs of a consistent quality from (usually) renowned and established artists and runs a wide gamut on styles and genres. They deviated a bit from their usual tuning style, but I think it works pretty well. Really shows the versatility of the Kagamine's V4X.

I'm also interested in good "new" Luka songs, because since V4X I find her songs mostly bad. I'm sure it has to do with her new voice but I can't help it. I could probably count on 1 hand the number of songs I like with her V4.

If anyone showed me good new songs(preferably using her V2) I'd appreciate it.
