I really like him, he is a funny guy and I feel comfortable watching game center cx because of him.

SA GCCX had pretty bad subs, mostly opting for western versions of titles instead of their original Japanese titles. Always pissed me off when they say "Famicom" and it's subbed as "NES", or something like "Wolf Legend" is called "Fatal Fury"

I've tried to watch it once, it was that episode where the new script-guy forgot to send the script of the day, so he called him and acted like a total douchebag towards him.

I think the show's biggest mistake was doing Takeshi's Challenge first, even if that is indeed an iconic game in Japan and an easy way to get people to notice your first episode.

I think it's neat how the creators of the game generally were extremely good at beating it since they had to play it themselves over and over for qa purposes, what with there not really being testers in the 80s. That and I like how Arino is just in awe of how easily Iwata seems to be able to play a game he made 30 years ago.

I find them to be kinda hit-or-miss recently. Most of them are charming and fun, but I find those ones where Arino visits some old candy shop that has three busted arcade machines where one of which happens to be a Metal Slug cabinet to be quite boring after a while. One of the more recent episodes had Arino visit such shop and the only game they had was some old poker game that didn't even work properly and it was just tiring to watch.
