O-Life Japan just seems to get overlooked in general.

Far as I know nobody has ever done a lossless rip of any of their albums in the last 2 years. Even for lossy rips there was straight up no rip of their LLS cover and Metal Stage1/2 boss themes album and only a bad quality one of their DDC (a really strong album to boot) one.

I'd probably grab them myself and do it but neither of those albums are being sold on Toranoana far as I can see.

Even this Comiket I'm pretty sure the composer just released a Sealing Club cover but nobody seems to have got it.

Here's FMPSG Originals. Unfortunately, seems like the CDs (all 3 of them) were either damaged or badly burned in the first place. The first two tracks sound like dogshit on each CD with lots of crackling, then the crackling fades out towards the rest of the tracks. It's a real bummer, you can still hear some noise on track 3 by Ryu Umemoto on both CDs 1 and 2.

Other CDs I've listened to with my drive sound fine, so it's not a problem with my drive. Not a problem of my ripping method either, because the snapping and popping is present when just listening to the CDs' first few tracks. Other albums sound OK.

Also freedb didn't have artist names for the first CD, but I think I got them right.

It's funny because it's not from a scan at all, but from Alstroemeria's website. Here's the one for Engaged Dancehall.

I did it by messing with the images' links a little bit to get the 800px size, then sticking it in Photoshop and changing the mode from CMYK to RGB, then saving it as a .png (they were originally .jpg, but work with what you got). CMYK is meant for (commercial?) printers and not for displaying on monitors. I'm guessing Alstroemeria's graphics guy missed a step? Not to mention it increases the size with the extra information for the additional color channel. The original .jpg in CMYK is larger than the RGB .png you see now.

Around 56k, 42k of which is from Touhou lossy music collection. Never really got around around to deleting or listening to most of it and mainly just listen to artists I know/like and new things from comiket/reitaisai. Whenever I try listening to random tracks in there, it's not fun.

Only about 1000 songs I regularly listen to in my playlist.

From my current playlist on my Foobar I have 22.6k songs in my music collection. I only add music to my collection after I have listened to it atleast once and have it rated in a spreadsheet so I can say with confidence that I have listened to everything in my music collection and have a good idea of if I like it or not. Outside of that I have a bunch of music I haven't listened to yet, an additional 20k+ or so.

The new Kikuo album was a little disappointing, his live mixing isn't that great, I thought his set at VocaNicoNight (it's on youtube) sounded better than the actual live C, but it's still decent.
The Rain Lily White albums are especially good, lots of good arranges on it. I'm enjoying the Euchaeta album too, the third track is in English and it's pretty cute.

On the same subject there has actually been no lossless rips of that metal album or the DDC cover. I think the DDC album is probably one of O-Life's best works to date as well.

With that said I might actually pick the DDC album up the next time I order something if I can find somewhere still stocking it.
