Discuss everything ryo.
ryo is a famous songwriter/composer who had his beginnings in Vocaloid with the hit song "Melt." Since then he acquired a harem of real girls to sing his songs and sadly only writes vocaloid songs roughly once per year when commissioned for Project Diva. A modern Schubert, he is deft in many genres of music each with his unique spin and shits out beautiful melodies on demand. Half the time ryo will write cheesy lyrics that only he can manage to get away with. You can learn more at:

I don't know how you can be a secondary for something so relatively well known but you fucking managed it.

Not quite sure what that means if I'm being honest
How did you first discover ryo, /jp/?
One of my friends showed me the original supercell album in 2009, which was coincidentally also my first exposure to Vocaloid. At first I couldn't stand Miku's voice and how loud her vocals sounded relative to the instruments, but I got used to it eventually. Then Bakemonogatari ED came out and I started my slide into becoming a huge fan.
He did a surprisingly great job with bravely second
Every track was top notch except for probably the battle themes. Those could've been better

Interesting, didn't know that.
Do you know of any other games/anime that he did the OST for besides Bravely Second, Cencoroll, and Nerawareta Gakuen?

The first thing I heard was the Bakemonogatari ED and from there I went to the album after a while.

Sound Horizon collab or something similar probably.
I just despise Miku and can't stand it, but both his works and Revo's struck me as something which really spoke to me personally.
I'm glad both are now successful and wealthy, but i just don't feel the same vibe now.
