Tried it once at a friend's house and it felt awkward. Haven't played it enough to get an informed opinion but my first impression was that I didn't like it much and I prefer Touhou. Similar to a lot of games like that though, you could probably have fun if you stick with it long enough to get a hang of things.

Pretty much this. I thought QP Shooting wasn't anything too exciting, but afterwards I played Suguri which was fantastic. Good gameplay and bosses, and a fresh system in dashing which was very fun to use. Great soundtrack, too.

I've been playing QP shooting a lot more recently. I'm trying to unlock the different abilities so I can see if I can make a cool combination of powers to beat the game with.

Hell yeah, 200% MJ and 100% OJ are good cheap games. Looking forward for more games like these.

i find it funny that 100% oj is more popular in the west than japan. When OJ came out a lot of the games weren't even localized so nobody knew who the characters were.

Some shot types are much, much better than others, but I'm sure that's intentional. It average and not worth more attention than a 1cc.

Way too fucking frustrating for me. I can't get good with the mechanic of "ennemies sometimes appear from behind tou". I cleared a few touhou games on normal 1CC, almost 1CCed MushihimeSama Futari, and then I play this fucking game on normal that looks piss easy compared to what I've cleared, and I still get rekt in the most stupid ways every time.
