I want to get into this hobby, mostly to make a custom doll for a character that probably won't get any merch at all. I was thinking the Picco Neemo bodies available on Amiami. What's the difference between the different sizes of bodies available? And where can I get a matching head for the doll? There don't appear to be any on Amiami.

Honestly, thinking about getting doll material is one of those things that gets me through the day if not the thing that gets me through the day. But then there's the balance of actually having time to use the stuff I've bought versus using the time to get the money to buy the things I do.

Now that I need to finally decide on a head I kinda need to put more thought into the image I want it to project, collect the material, and then finally spend more time actually implementing it (I'm the hobby type so doing the face-up myself is actually one of my goals as opposed to just having a finished doll).

Dressed her to see how clothes fit and such. Not exactly a great getup, but it was cheap, and it gave me an idea of what fits and how (which is to say, kinda tightly). The green skirt has a white cloth lining so I'll have her wear that outfit while waiting in shipping box purgatory.

Go check your local classifieds for display cabinets. Chances are you'll find a nice one second hand for pretty cheap that will be made of actual timber and not particleboard.
