You can't play Phantasm before beating Extra, which is even easier. PCB as a whole is a very easy game, you get plenty of time to get good before having to dodge the spellcard in this screenshot.

You gotta admit not all 2hu games are easy, though, so it's hard to be full primary.

The thing is not all secondaries are current /jp/ level of bad. /jp/ has become shit due to influx of secondaries from other place outside of /jp/ be it from other boards, danbooru, tumblr, youtube, etc that increased over years and small community like /jp/ couldn't hold them for long, which caused /jp/ culture to be slowly dominated and eventually vanished by behaviour brought by these immigrants as they chose to stay as regular. Current /jp/ is no longer resembles its old self. Back then /jp/ probably has a lot more good discussion, inane threads are much more fun, shitposting isn't just limited to Touhou and they generally hate cancerous behaviour especially from other boards and sites.

So don't blame /jp/ for the shitty fanbase. Current /jp/ itself is mixture of culture from other fanbase centrals while /jp/ itself has long dead.

I have a 120hz monitor with a particularly low update latency, and an old 60hz Sun Microsystems CRT monitor that was used for 3d design which I pull out just for 2hu.

I just suck balls at the games. It took more than a full year, from the start of playing the games, to beat IN on normal. This was on a night when I was 20mg of Adderall, and had already failed 3 times that same night.

My reaction time is so bad that, when I played FPSes, I could only play casual competitive on TF2. As the Medic. With everything else, I was always one step behind everyone else.

I also have a WPM of ~30, and I do software development for a living, so I think I just suck at hand-eye coordination in general. But all I fucking hear is:

It made me improve. The best way I found to consistently capture a card, if it did not depend too heavily on motion, was to literally train myself to go down a predetermined path, largely ignoring the bullets in motion.

Because this was more effective than trying to dodge.
