I truly have no idea. I have met multiple children who own expensive dolls in general like Pullips and American Girl Dolls. If the kid manages to save up, which they can if they get an allowance or their parents are loaded or both, then its possible that the parents would let them buy expensive weeb dolls and I have seen this first hand at a doll meet and other kids who don't have dollfies but want one in the near future. It's beyond me how they could save up that much, but it happens. By "a lot of kids" I really meant that there's a lot compared to Japan where I assume there's close to none. I got my first at 17 which isn't really a kid, but still young.

I remember that australian bro posted pictures of his obitsu/parabox doll's feet quite a while ago.

They were noticeably flat and had magnets on the bottom. It's to help the doll hold position and stick to the metal stand better.

The parabox feet in pic gives you an idea what I'm talking about. It's not the size for the parabox 47, but the idea on the design is the same. It'll be flat on the bottom as opposed to having an arch like what feet on volks models have. The doll will basically look flat footed, is all, and also will have a magnet there.

Yeah pretty much. My doll's feet are designed for being useful over being aesthetic. The only market that doesn't see the benefits is the footfag market and that market has no money because footfags are unemployable, so they designed the foot to appeal to markets that have money.

I can hang my doll off the side of the fridge if I feel like it and she'll stand there quite happily.

Dolls are meant to look pretty. They serve no other purpose. To design an aesthetic product and place functionality first while letting the aesthetics take the back seat is just ass backwards. I don't know if australia gets a lot of earthquake or what, but I have my dolls on normal saddle stands and none of them have ever fallen off. It's not something I've ever seen people worry about.

The magnet is honestly just not a good design. It forces you to use a metal stand instead of giving you the freedom to choose wood or plastic as you please. The effect of the magnet is also moot if you put your doll in any kind of shoes, especially high heeled lolita ones.

Didn't think anyone wanted it! Resize to fit the 1 in. marks and print. Hopefully it didn't cut off the bottom (I think it did just a little but if you fold along the line, you can see what part of the sleeve is missing), my scanner auto sizes. If you print it without resizing it, it'll just be a little small for an L bust, but fine for any other size.

I use a proxy. Just look at reviews before hand and pick one you're comfortable with, they tend to be simple enough to use.

Hey guys, Sasarabro here with another shoot! In the spirit of summer, and before it ends, I decided to finally do something with her swimsuit. I also tried cutting her wig, but as you can see... Didn't work out all that well. Despite it looking rather ratty, I think it adds a certain charm to her, like a surfer girl!

Anyway, these are the first photos of her I tried editing, I think I did alright for my first try. There are a few more I've got. If anyone has any critique or advice (asides from the wig of course) I'd love to hear it.

I really like the short bob cut style and I think the rattiness is really cute. Especially when she's in that swimsuit as it makes her look fresh out of the pool. It also gives the impression of a tomboy. An exceptionally stacked and pointy tomboy, at that.

If you're unsure, press down on the centre of her head. If you can depress the wig at all, it's not properly fitted. It should be tight.

Ahh yes, I should have mentioned that too! The wig is definitely too big; it's a 9-10 rather than an 8-9. I made the naive mistake of buying it and thinking that if I put two wig caps on, then it would fit better. She's got a case of egghead going on though... I know better for next time.

Well I initially got it in that size because the 8-9s were sold out, but even if they came in her proper size, I wouldn't want to buy from Leekeworld again for wigs. Honestly I'm not sure if they suck or if I'm just a total moron when it comes to wigs though...

If there's lots of rubbing going on (from repeated rapid movements, for example) then it's possible the fabric could cause damage but if it's just for a photo then it's probably fine.

Over the last couple of years when I've bought hair on and off from leekeworld, they're often way too tight to easily fit and often have patches of thinning hair on the wigs themselves. This is comparing their wig with miruya's, which have always had just the right fit and does not have random bald/thin spots. A shame since the styles on leekeworld's can be very nicely done.

The bald spots were my biggest issue. I also seek to have trouble properly brushing wigs? I was using a soft bristled tooth brush and brushing from the bottom up but it kept having a lot of breakage... That's probably my fault though.

In other news I am not really feeling this shirt but I thought I would give some thoughts on Maple here. Also I am on the prowl for more clothes if anyone knows of anything cute I wana see it. Or I just want to see more dolls posted Sasara's owner is doing things right it's fun to see her and how excited her owner is.

First I doubt I will ever buy another smart doll. The DD and Obitsu are just so much more sturdy feeling. I also like there look of DD/Obitsu more. Also the face is very flat and if she did not wear glasses I think I would like her less. The glasses add a lot of depth to her face.
That said despite being costly the clothes are really nice and I will probably buy more for her and my other girls.
Overall I am happy with her and I don't regret my purchase.

Simple, buy another pair and do what anon said, sand the nips off one pair. Just swap them around depending on what she's wearing.

The alternative is to buy some peach pai, they're so soft that the nipples will be compressed by clothing but protrude freely when unsupported. They also have that life-like texture boys crave.

Hey guys so I got a Kanzaki Ranko DD recently and I fucked up. I guess I was a bit too heavy handed trying to put her wig on and the twin tails popped off and I cannot for the life of me get it back together. Anyone have any advice?

Hmmm. Assess the damage and act. If it was something like the base Mayu DD model, which is my girl I currently have and a tail came undone, which is bound by string, it would just be new wig time. I wouldn't be able to replicate that level of precision by hand. Idk dood. Feel it out, put it away, sleep on it, and look at it with rested eyes for a day or two.
