Although unrelated I always find it funny how english speakers are completely unable to pronounce words in other languages.
As a person with a mother tongue whose phonetics are somewhat similar to japanese (in other words, we can pronounce clear letters without pulling them up from the stomach like english people do) these threads always amuse me.
Kosuzu, Hecate, Mitsubishi, Toyota, etc. It truly is fascinating how english people manage to deform and destroy words which to a large part of the world are quite straightforward.
Kosuzu.
Cy-oot.
Kosuzu.
How do you propose to Kosuzu?

Brother, quit talking out of your ass.
Japanese isn't hard to pronounce. The language is made of prepackaged syllables that only sound different from usual with rare exception.
As opposed to letters like:
e, g, c, x, s, t, u, y
so on
>>15550624
These threads are always ironic or baits, though. That's why they amuse me.

Is there anything sadder than ESLs trying desperately to find some justification for learning some dead language with no cultural merit because their parents forced them to?

Ko like 'co' in word 'comic'
Su like 'su' in word 'supressed'
Zu, well 'tsu' as far as I know.
I might be bit off. Though the way words are pronounced in Japanese seems very similar to my language, Finnish, said as they are written.

No, the "u" in SU and ZU are not pronounced like your examples. There is a QUICK drop off when you get to the "u" in SU and ZU, it is not stressed as in Sue and Zoo.
Fucking retard.
>>15570169
Single syllable words can't be stressed or unstressed without context, dumbass. And how the hell do /you/ pronounce 'zoo'? Zooooo?
>>15568660
