The PC-98 era has so many great characters that deserve a spot in the limelight again.

Being a PC98fag in this day and age truly is suffering. The last PC98 character to return was Yuuka in PoFV, over ten years ago.

Considering part of UFO took place there, with Shinki themed fairies and all, I'd say that's an oversight.

Probably a good thing. ZUN stated that 'it would be awkward to place an character in the game's plot like that.' something around the lines of that.
And you don't want some character(s) to be crowbarred-In & then be milked out just to please the fanbase.

I want Shinki back, but if she did return I doubt she'd have a connection to Alice in the Windows canon.
