There are a lot of classes with overlapping roles- Eretto (gold priest armor) is super cute, but was really struggling to carry her weight at low levels, since she's not as good at either tanking or healing-- her utility and flexibility really started to shine after I CC'd her and started pumping her full of affection, though.

This is the situation with my units. I may not have particularly liked their designs, but they grow on you after going through so much shit with them.

Except archers. I still die a little inside whenever an arrow goes to waste because someone else killed its target before it could land. I'd actually try rolling for a black if they made one with a "whenever an arrow hits the ground, it causes an area explosion instead of just pinging off" passive.

In fact, make these flaming arrows and have them halt regeneration on hit, because that shit is the second worst thing in Aigis after targetless arrows.

she can reach awakened prince levels of defense for 15 seconds, so she is going to be one hell of a tank for a short while. But being limited to 15 seconds really hinders her once you start getting units that can actually tank bosses.

This aamon event for example, you need to tank him for like 5 minutes.

Amon is the same as he was in his previous event, but with scaling stats. He's quite easy to deal with if you make sure not to have any ranged units near his 2nd form. The other enemies here seem like the real hard part, the fire elementals will tear through anyone if you aren't careful, and the swarms of hell ants can be hard to deal with.

Speaking of which, Anna's event is almost finally here. It's supposed to be the one after the dancer or I guess maybe Fran's one if they haven't skipped her. These event drops in Aigis events are legitimately horrible, I'm at the point where I'll probably just end up AWing Camilla first because there's no other class I can do it with except for maybe Katie. Meanwhile I'm sitting here with 1 CCed mage and another non CCed at 50 with no way to get more.

Liana is a black healer that costs a freaking ton for what she brings because she was supposed to be our next collection event unit, since B.Iris -the original black gacha healer- was omitted for she was too much for our weak and feeble minds. She is still pretty good but her +5 cost will be a major pain.
Zenobia is a great soldier that brings reinforcements III faster than Katie with good stats and a chance to hit AOE around her once awakened.
Zola is the best cannonner available, she trades range for attack speed while being versatile with her ability to swap her phys attack for magic with her skill. Think a physical damage mage.
Barbie is a gold mage similar to Cyrus, if you have a leveled Pallis or the silver male mage you can do just fine without him until you get a plat one.
Sakuya is a great samurai, yet samurai are pretty niche and shit atm. There will be some buffs in the future for her class but still niche.

Noob here. How should I feel about my first 10 pulls? I wanted Zeno, but got 3 other plats I have no idea about. Are they any good? Shizuka, Dahlia and Lyla. I have Imelia from event not min/max, which seems to be like Lyla, who´s the better?

Well, now that I have Zenobia and Aria, should I just forget about Katie? Or will there be a point where three good soldiers with Call Reinforcements might be a necessity?

Dancers are situational units. Chances are you won't be needing one for a long time. Yet they can be the key out of a pinch, bringing the necessary numbers to your core to solve an impossible situation. They also can make multi-shot units shine even brighter. Pop their skills at the same time and see the pincushions cry.
As how Waltz fares against the other dancers, she will get a 50% dodge chance upon awakening and her S.AW swaps burst for a lesser boost that activates automatically and lasts forever. The three are solid, you can't go wrong with her. Yet if you dearly need silvers go ahead, cost isn't really that much of an issue with them, and you can just farm a cost-cheap Hana later. Or Marnie if you pull her out of the gacha.

First, 3 plats out of 10 is very nice. Congrats. Dahlia and Lyla are fantastic units, while Sakuya is also great, she belongs to a class that is quite niche and dearly needs some buffs that will hopefully come to Nutaku.
Lyla brings the pain AND the gold. Fantastic bandit that you will use more than Imelia for sure.
Some useful silvers and the golds might serve you well too.

I've always found getting spotlight units very tough, sure theres better chances but the pool is so big that the boosted rates don't seem big enough.
Then you see all these DMM pulls and they're full of repeating units where they've removed units from the gacha so the pools are much smaller.

As far as I know, the spotlight just adds two -or was it three?- additional "cards" of that unit to the hand. So you still need to get your desired tier AND fight against increasing odds against you, since every-time a new unit enters the pool the probability you get the spotlight units dwindles. I for one, avoid the spotlight units so much I'm almost tempted to roll when they aren't in it.

My point was that you couldn't kill Archangel in less than 5 minutes without some decent units. Archangel/Greater Troll regen lasts a little less than 5 minutes after all.

Killing them shouldn't take 999 seconds though.

Black feng shui seems ridiculous, I'm glad they're actually trying to make a unit like her worthy of being a black. Gets attack speed from affection just like black Iris, Skill AW gives permanent 1.8x range, her ability gives her a token that can prevent the death of the next character that would die, reviving them after a few seconds at full health. Only drawback is that her attack isn't especially high, but she gets to heal 3 people at once with nearly 400 range.
