I finished Higurashi no naku koro ni kai. Took me forever to read. It had it's moments but there's too much filler. I feel like it would be a much better read if they cut 25% of the text.

It wasn't bad when I read it. A lot of VNs have worse SOL and no hook at all in the beginning. It was pretty concise compared to most VNs.
