Just enable "skip already read sequences" when you get to a point where you have to try all the combinations to find the one that makes you progress, which usually happens only when you're far into the story.

Her oki game is pretty horrifying, sometimes you can worm your way out of it online by switching up your tech directions and doing something like a forward tech after she OTG 5b's and throws a cat out, because its much harder to react to stuff like that in rollback.

Shes pretty much just the tech punish and fuzzy guard queen, but its hard to utilize her fuzzy guards online too, so usually just blocking her (weak) ground strings until you see an opening will get you out of it just fine. Gotta be ready to react to her doing things that shouldnt work though, like throwing a cat in the middle of a blockstring.

I guess it's just important to stay calm and realize that even though her mixup is brutal, things like her throw wont give her too much damage even if they do put you back in the blender.

At least its not Hime or Arcueid...

Well, there's Sieg. He's not exactly "normal" to start with, but he's a literal blank slate who goes from unable to walk to fighting Servants and turning into a dragon over the course of Apocrypha. Dude collects unique abilities like candy.

Then there's Hakuno, who again appears normal until you learn about the whole AI ghost thing and takes down people with way more power and experience.

Then there's Kiritsugu, who is literally called "Prince of Chuuni" in the Consultation Room shorts.

It's probably intentional. The most popular characters are the scantily dressed psuedo-whores. Sex sells, so the farther they can push the line the more they can sell. You lose a few who actually want interesting characters more than a T&A extravaganza, but they're outnumbered by the new sales you get by having every character having their clothes nearly falling off.
