-Winter event has been announced to be Operation Rei-Go for February 10th, which has 2 main +1 EO maps.
-Winter event ship rewards/drops are Hatsuzuki, Okinami and Zara.
-For those who don't have Graf Zeppelin, Mizuho, Akitsushima, and Amagi, they will reappear in the event.
-Valentine's Day season will also arrive on February 10th with Aoba class seasonal voices and others.
-According to KanColle Style published in Jan 2016, they're preparing for a bit new things for the second half of this year.
-The USN shipgirl will be implemented in the PS Vita's edition before her planned implementation in the browser game.
-There are plans to implement land-based aircraft and their famed pilots.
-There exists a plan to increase the variety of overseas ships in term of nationality and ship type.
-Ranking equipment is out with an early preview of the 16inch Triple Gun Mount Mk.7.
-Iowa-class implementation to start sometime after Spring.
-Either Satsuki or Nagatsuki will get her kai 2 sometime this February.
-KanColle Arcade has been delayed to Spring.
-KanColle is still planned to add Android support in Winter.

Yura's ASW stat isn't much better or worse than other light cruisers after Kai. If you have higher-leveled CLs, use them, since inherent ASW scales with level. If not, there's no problem in using Yura.
EIther way, the inherent ASW stat is a very small factor in damage calculations compared to equipment, so Yuubari with an extra sonar will probably do more damage than a 3-slot CL. Her slightly lower survivability might be a problem, though.

Just think about how you want a fight to play out. Remember that the first shelling phase is based on range and the second is top down. Night is also top down. Most people keep their carriers at the bottom since they're useless at night and at orange. Sometimes you want your heavy hitters near the top to get their shots in quick in the 2nd phase and night, sometimes you want them at the bottom so the weaker ships can clean up the weaker enemies first and give you a good shot at the boss. Flagship position is useful for protecting your weakest ship, but I'd never advising giving it to a carrier. Those are the basics.

I only failed my first chipping run because of inefficient T3 distribution and fleet order, the rest were kills. That's the one problem here: there are only 2 DD if you are unlucky enough with the hp grinding formation. 70% of the time, their torp collides on dyson or CV princess for shitty damage.
At least, it is somewhat mitigated if you use both CLT and boss support, but I often had to deal with a full enemy fleet at night, or BB forced to take out the trash themselves anyway.
