exactly this is what I'm talking about. I understand non of you understand japanese at all but did you really have so little understanding of what was going on in the stream that you couldn't tell that they were reading comments on the tablets.

seeing as the tablets had a third party logo on it I was wondering if they were in charge or censoring. I know that the company the logo belongs to rents out the location and provides all the technical support for the event and what not.

the simple question was. Do they see the rare comments section of the stream or do they get a filtered version and if so to what extent do you guys think.

for instance they could get a stream that has bad ones removed or it could be a approval thing like some youtube channels that only allow approved comments.

The reason Edge and Negai were great album mixes were because they sounded like an actual, good and natural extension of the song. Glitter and Laser Beam's album mixes sounded awful, like Nakata didn't give a single shit and lazily slapped some shitty unnecessary effects and sounds onto songs that didn't need them. It mostly sounded jarring. MoL and SoL's album mixes are a little better in my opinion but still lazy versions of songs that sounded better without the extra editing. MoL's album mix was worse than SoL in my opinion because it took away some of that general bright, fun, simple feeling of the original.

Nakata's throwing a shit-ton of album mixes on Cosmic Explorer probably in an attempt to have some sort of cohesive sound but I can't see it working out well, knowing how he's been doing album mixes lately.

I've with held stating my opinion on the album because desu it's negative and if everyone shit talks perfume for months on end like after shillax in the shilly then I'm going to helium my shit up. would rather have the thread die then go back to that shit fest.

frankly I'm shocked sweet refrain is in the album I thought they were going to ignore it as koi wa was actually a level 3 left over. I'm happy it got in desu as it really is a great song.

over all this won't be as good as level 3 but will probably be better than JPN.

GAME actually sounded nice and cohesive though, because their style at the time was a lot more... I dunno, easy-access and definitive? I hate to use the word "comfy" to describe Perfume but for GAME era that's really how it felt. Perfume's songs used to just have a style that was definitively theirs whether it was Macaroni or Polyrhythm. Nowadays it's like every individual song has to have a theme or some shit.

Because it does sound so much like LEVEL3 leftovers I'm worried how much Nakata will change it though. Sure, it's a little slow to start in my opinion and has a tired-sounding pre-chorus, but I still wouldn't change a thing about it. People are mad about no Koi Wa and at first I thought it sounded like it might sound jarring against the other singles and songs, but then again he put RITC and HYH and Star Train on there so I don't think that's really the case. I'm hopeful the album mix will just tweak a few things that I disliked, like how the vocals feel a tad bit overpowered at times. Maybe he'll just add some cute little things and not ruin it. I already really like the JPN-era vibe it gives off.

Star Train I don't give a shit about, even if the album mix is better I'll probably end up wanting to skip it anyway.

I'm really just looking forward to the new songs on the album and indifferent to the album mixes because it's impossible to have high hopes for those anyway.

Toumei Ningen should have been on there too, imo. NOT as an album mix though because fuck that.

desu the reason one room disco is so high is because I love 23:30 so much. one room disco is a pretty good party starter too. it's one of those songs you never skip on your phone but never one you crave to listen to.

I think its a great single mostly for its B side. same as for mirai. mirai no museum is a decent song I rarely skip it because it has a very cute sound but I never seek it out, mean while daijoubanai is a masterpiece.

fushizen na girl is actually my favorite perfume song but it's low on the list as I don't like natty ni koishite. it's too popish.

when ever perfume tries to go full pop they usually come off as generic at least then they go full kyary mode it sounds alright despite me disliking kyarys sound.

Nee is a little better as it has a great instrumental despite the very weak verses.

laser beam gets too much hate, i think possibly because the vocals are too Britteny spears'y or some shit. I still think the instrumental carries it and as a performance it is god tier because of the choro and light show. not to mention kasuka na kaori is one of their best slow songs on their discography.

Can any anon's help me out?

I've been searching relentlessly for some Perfume's SXSW 2015 performances, particularly the song's Polyrhythm, Magic of Love, and Spring of Life. These three are almost IMPOSSIBLE to find except a very clip here and there. Youtube and Google have been of no help.

If anyone has any clips of these songs or 'rare' footage of other songs from that show tucked away on your hardrive, if you could please share, I and others, that are also looking would be eternally grateful.

Hello, I've liked Perfume for a long time (mostly the song dream fighter) but I haven't been to these threads before and I don't go on /jp/.
Why are people saying Nocchi is autism and memes?
Also, are legs officially perfume meme? I've always admired their legs greatly in their vids but I didn't expect it to be like a meme thing.

Well, it's okay. That's all I can say. It sounds nice but that verse was pretty awful. Chorus is catchy but relies really heavily on just "flash - blahblabblah" 10 times over to where it feels too repetitive to not border into being annoying.

Speaking of Pick Me Up, anyone else have trouble hearing their voices in this song (during the drop) and in Pick Me Up especially? They just sound super quiet and I have no idea why its so bad. Maybe its mixed terribly or something.

You can't hear Yuka on top of the fact she has next to no lines in the song. Nocchi's wailing and A-Chan are all I hear in that song.

But I dunno if Nakata's songs are "remakes", it's more like his older style was really distinct and cute with COLTEMONIKHA, MEG, Perfume, and capsule at the time.
