I used that HDD for backup for few months. Then I decided to use it for the Wii U (which the console format the HDD automatically). I used Y-cable as suggested (as Wii U USB port is lacking power). It was fine for several weeks, but then after heavy use of around 60 hours of certain game I got the error message that the USB device is disconnected. Even after several reset the HDD isn't recognized by the console anymore.
Anyway I'm over that now. I've formatted that HDD back to NTFS. It's recognized by Windows, doesn't seem to have problem. But I'm worried it might die down after heavy use like before. I hope the fault was in Y-cable not the HDD back then with the Wii U, but I'm not sure if a simple cable could suddenly fail like that.
So yeah that's the problem. The HDD looks fine in Windows but I just want double check before I put my precious JAVs there.

Time goes by, HD becomes the new standart and dvds get replaced by streaming. If I recall correctly dioguitar is still around releasing stuff, but it's a long time since I've seen a nike release (maybe some of you oldfagfs remember the (divx)+nike or (h264)+nike torrents from ages ago)

Due to less sold dvds and better hd streaming dvd ripping became less and less importand. And thats why we have those shitty rips nowadays. Those damn chinks dont care about ripping and only screencap the movies.
