I think if you're an EOP and plan staying one you should probably support these kind of things instead of how you all threw money at things like Clannad, regardless of "masterpieces" or anything of the sort.

Libra wasn't an extraordinary game (none of onomatope*'s are, to begin with) but its still pretty solid in what you'd expect from your average eroge. The thing here is semi-simultaneous release. Libra is still a fairly recent game compared to everything else you get that's already discussed to hell and back since it's so old. And price-wise, I saw the fundraiser campaign thing have somewhat similar prices (with some overhead) to what you'd pay for a Limited Edition in Japan with similar tokuten. I also think that's a big factor in this market and it's what keeps me actually buying games I like from Japan.

I don't expect many people to be interested anyways, I don't know how it is in the peasant fields but most of the people are divided into those looking for literary merit in these things which Libra probably didn't suffice back then (these were probably looking forward to/playing Sakuuta which was released at around the same time) and those who take it easy, so not many people played this at a time when eroge got what was essentially the Duke Nukem Forever of releases. And EOP basically know nothing of this game so that's that.
