I said I would update last thread, so here's the results of my uncharacteristic arts and crafts endeavor.

The first batch came out warped because I didn't flatten it carefully enough and I also forgot to lower the opacity. The second batch all came out perfect and I even made them double sided. Unfortunately, the paper doesn't always shrink uniformly. The only things you can do is use a more uniform oven or make the keychains smaller. Pretty fun little activity though. I also made one of my dog for my mom and my imouto made one for yukine after helping me out a lot. Hope you enjoyed by blog.

I bought this book (http:// tinyurl com/hon6ga5), and im hoping to translate it to share what knowledge it has inside it eventually.

I did watch a livestream of circusP doing some tuning on Rin and Len v4 English, and saw that he was using the pitch bend parameter extensive, had one word into multiple phonemes for better pronunciation (example, jumping required a phoneme for JA, UMP, and PING; even the word earth gets two separate phonemes; ER and TH), the h, d, and dh phonemes inside the lyric box help made the words have an MMHPH sound to it, but you'd need to have it at the end of a word. For example, words like Moving and Ground would have a separate lyric box that would have a [h] or [d] or [dh] for the phoneme following the word. [h] phoneme also helps gives words like Sleep and Deep a puh sound and can possibly sound a lil extended. a lot of the pronunciation correction was done with changing, removing, and adding phonemes to current lyrics. One word can have up to 2-3 lyric boxes with multiple phonemes that may even have a [h] at the end of it.

The melody and lyrics were made before circusP did the tuning. I've also noticed that at the beginning of each set of lyrics, there'd be a specific modification in the Pitch bend, where he draws it very carefully on the line on there for a specific shape in the modification bar that's below the lyrics while going for some VERY specific numbers that was displayed on the vocaloid editor at the same time. I'd have to show a picture later to explain.

It's a pretty niche games. Let's not fool ourselves, project diva has never sold even half a million for any of its games. Even BlazBlue sells more and that's pretty niche. It's a mid-sized within the weeb games niche, but in the market at large it's pretty small.

And while some niche games do see release, most just stay in the PS Vita or the PS4 'cause they don't want the hassle of a port. Hell, most actual niche games don't even see translation.

AB is not primarily a music tracker. You join it for anime. Having is as another source to search for music isn't bad, though.
It's one of the easiest private trackers to get by in. 1080p is freeleech, bonus points are very generous, and you only need to maintain a 0.2 ratio.

Stumbling onto random stuff you love on youtube/niconico is half the fun of vocaloid. That said, you can start by looking up the concert set lists, Project Diva and Project Mirai song lists, and there's also a few Exit Tunes compilation albums out there. All those will give you a general idea of the most popular/well known vocaloid songs, then you can find your favorite producers and go from there. VocaDB is a great resource for finding songs, albums or producers. Vocaloid wiki works too but there's less content.

This information is usually in the copypasta in the OP, but it's missing in this thread for some reason. Mikudb is where you'll find most albums, but for covers etc you can usually just rip it off NND, there are lots of programs out there that will allow you to do that.

About 1k songs. That's ~60 albums. I only download albums of my absolute favorite producers, otherwise I just download whatever single songs I like the most. I have also bought 15 physical albums since I like collecting stuff.

Vocaloid is not all I listen to though, it's maybe 10% of my library. I wish I had the time to explore it further.

It's hard to be a fan of the singers when their covers can be hit or miss, especially to a guy like me who likes to keep the song vanilla without excessive adlibs. Some of Yuikonnu's covers are examples of songs that I find to have reasonable extra touches. With that said, once in a while, I shoot down a cover for straying far from vanilla, but then it just grows on me later (Reol's Streaming Heart).

I think I've only had a few covers I've ever liked from utaites, a lot of them either screech, sound dead, have a boring voice tone overall, or are just plain unappealing. The worst though is dealing with utaite fags who insist that their favorite is the best singer ever and just general obnoxiousness from the fanbase.
