Felt the story became less enjoyable once MC made a party and the story stopped being a story about a solo adventurer.

I don't really like MC's current heroine aka Elk.

It just feels wrong for Elk to be the main heroine when MC and his succubus mother already fucked and MC's end goal is defeating all the monsters on his mother's list that gives him the right to impregnate his succubus mother since MC is an incubus, himself, and not really human, either

And I hate how the author does a horrible job trying to powerlevel a normal person like Elk to try to catch up to MC.

And MC and Elk's relationship is so confusing.

MC doesn't exactly treat Elk like an actual girlfriend but Elk seems to think she became MC's girlfriend.

Anyone read the New Gate.

It is the few summoning stories involving a former video game world, that I find tolerable.

In the recent chapter, I am confused on whether or not Shin had a more difficult time fighting against Skeleton Lord versus fighting Girard.

I know the fight against Girard lasted way longer and Shin's hax equipment actually got damaged when fighting against Girard, but when fighting against the Skeleton Lord back in the previous volume, it felt like Shin was more willing to use more destructive fatal sword techniques that he didn't use against Girard.

Both fights were difficult but which opponent really caused Shin to go all out more for in the end.

Anyone read Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo Dorei Majutsu?

One of the few LNs that has a good manga adaption when most of them suck.

It is a pretty chill story so far and I like how MC's spells are OP because MC brought over real life chemistry and physics knowledge to justify his elemental powers.

Also, MC wants to treat his harem regularly but MC is pretty bad at talking with women so MC is forced to roleplay as a Demon Lord so everything he says, sounds terrifying to his harem and he talks like a douchebag sometimes.

And one time he tried to sign a contract that required a blood seal, MC stabbed himself too hard due to being too nervous and scared everyone in the room but MC just brushed it off and implied that such a bloody contract was expected of a Demon Lord.

I don't think I've seen any manga adaptations that don't do "justice" to the source material. Most of even the decent ones are relatively rough and amateurish, but so is the source.

You know how some people mention that there really isn't a cooking summoning fantasy LN?

Well, I remember browsing around the net and came across this LN title.

Basically, MC has been working at his parent's restaurant for a long ass time and one day, while taking out the trash to the dumpster behind his family's restaurant, he gets summoned to a fantasy world.

And basically, MC just cooks in the fantasy world and introduces stuff like hamburgers.

Any potential fighting against enemies is done by MC's friends or harem.

Having recently found the convenience of reading the novels on my cellphone I started reading them massively after months of reading only the latest volume of Index and little more.
So I created an excel page with all the different novels and created and order based on number of pages, the order of the previously read novels (so that the last one I read was 1, the second to last was 2 etc.) and the number of volumes I downloaded of that series and started reading with a pacing of one novel every 1-2 days. Recently I finished Spice and Wolf 1, Owari no Chronicle 1-A, Highschool DxD 1, Heavy Object 2 and Rokka no Yuusha 1, I'm currently reading Chrome Shelled Regios 1 and the next ones are going to be Full Metal Panic 2, Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou 1 and Slayers 4

What phone are you using? I find my phone's screen's a too small for comfortale reading, at least raw stuff, since it's all .jpgs and is zoomed all over the place. I constantly have to flick the screen which I don't particularly like.

Because everybody posted their weeb things on /a/ by default. But /jp/ is much better to have slow LN threads about non-specific series. Better for recommendations, translation status udpates, etc.

Binge read all of Baccano. Train arc was god-tier, but the rest ranged from ok to generic and uninteresting. The ones that focused on Huey and/or his superhuman squads had pretty fanfic-y characterisation and plot. Ryohgo also likes to overuse the "all characters are badass except when one reveals themselves to be even more badass than expected" crutch. The last few volumes were a pain to read through because his characters just don't feel that unique anymore.

To me Durarara was a better work because the fixed setting and time period forced Ryohgo to be more economical with his plot and characters. He has more time to focus on developing the characters and locations.
