China really has no allies except Pakistan and Cambodia (those two only like China's money).

Laos is literally a Chinese puppet state.
Thailand post-2014 is closely aligned with China.
Tajikistan and China are close military partners since 2015.
China also has really close relations with Georgia for whatever reason.

Anyway, China isn't in the world police game and never really has signed any alliances in their entire modern existence, so it's kind of a mute point to argue that somehow lacking alliances is bad.
