With that sad, the culture here is still that nobody takes health issues seriously. People embrace aches, pains and diseases that they shouldn't have as par for the course. Binge drinking is very common to the point that nobody seems to have a reference for what is too much. Half of them probably don't even believe drinking can cause complications during pregnancy.

No one drinks while pregnant here. Pretty sure the social services can take away the child in that case
