Also Shanghai would rank 55 largest of 233 in population if it was compared to other countries.
It has a larger population Netherlands, Chile, Kazakhstan, Belgium, Greece, Cuba, Portugal, Sweden, Austria, Switzerland, Serbia, Czech, Israel, and many "countries".

Yeah. China drops from rank 1st ranked Shanghai. China ranks 5/10/27 in Math/Sci/Reading. Totally BTFO there. USA ranked 40/25/24 btw.

But that can also make sense too. Conquistadors weren't the smart men. You might say they were the violent and brave. But probably not say they are the smart or high IQ ones.

Which Mexico is not part of?
Look at HDI. Most of East Asia has much higher HDI. Only exception is China. And they are rising rapidly while Mexico has stagnated and even declined since WW2.

All I argued against is this mythical belief that asians are gods among men with superhuman brains. They're not.
