well georgia is really one of the nicest southern states in terms of architecture and also one of the richest so its pretty well kept

tennessee is great as well for food (memphis) and music (nashville and memphis)

the carolinas are sort of their own little coastal haven with their own subculture and have some of the nicest beaches in the south

florida has the true nicest beaches but florida is also a fucking weird place full of weird people

if you really want to see the DEEP south there's mississippi and alabama, but theyre both shit holes

arkansas has the best nature and outdoors

louisiana has the best food and is probably the most unique culture in the US

virginia is also nice but its full of yankees
