>at least 12 hours a week of homework since age 15 on top of the 32 regular school hours
>teachers say we must "get used to working ethics"
>finish studies
>enter the real world
>all that i studied is useless
>best job i can get with my 10 years of homework-heavy education is minimum wage hostelry where i will get exploited for unpaid extra hours
t-t-thanks for the education Spain

I'm experiencing the same desu. Finished my studies and can't find a job. I kind of regret my studies as well.

If I started my own business 10 years ago I would have been so much better off now.
But better late than never.

how else am i supposed to pass? its mandatory secondary school.
>>79463676
i envy the scandinavian educational systems where they dont nearly have as many hours or homework. the human brain just cant keep that much info in short periods of time, plus its exhausting and forces you to have a very limited social life while you're in school days. also they put extra homework if theres a small vacation between schooldays, or a weekend.

you can always work as a waiter and serve your germanic and anglo overlords.

>you must study hard so you can get a good paying job!

I knew this was hard bullshit since i was in middle school.
Didnt study for shit, skept school all day erry night

In the other hand friends of mine were basically a voluntary slaves of school system studying 17 hrs a day

Both ended up getting a shitty job lol

Only 40 hours a week of work. Being in secondary school or University is already socialising. It's not all work and not all that bad. Get a degree in which there is actual demand for jobs instead of hotel school.
>>
learn to code for 2 years
failed school exams
kicked from uni
got high wage 5 hour/day job

university is kinda selling status which practically useless. truly better jobs or positions are already reserved for sons/daughters of ruling class.

>better jobs or positions are already reserved for sons/daughters of ruling class
i hate this. its everywhere in spain. if you dont have a family with contacts getting a job is nearly impossible even for uni students.
we call this "enchufes" (plugs), because you need someone in a good position that "plugs" you into the company

How much homework would you say you had in high school/upper secondary/whatever it is you call there? I know the nordic system doesn't have much homework in the grade school but at least in our high schools you have shitloads of homework, especially if you go with advanced maths, physics and/or chemistry.
It's actually quite a shock from grade school because you aren't used to doing that much home work. And it gets even worse in the university because now you have to do shared homework with some dumb fucks or foreign students who can't write English that well so you have to proof-read and fix their shit :-D

Anyways it's not that different here. You aren't going to land any jobs with just a high school diploma. Most go for higher education and graduate around the age of 25-28 and then go for the work life. It's actually ridiculous how long it takes for a Finn to get into career mode. Our system is pretty fucking stupid when you really think about it.

we have
>6 years of elementary (up until age 12/13)
>4 years of secondary (up until age 16/17)
then its voluntary to go to bachiller, wich is in the same place, 2 years of "advanced" secondary
or you can go to vocational school
>homework
for each class of spanish we'd get an hour of spanish homework maybe
and we'd also have class for regional languages, for example here in galicia we have galician wich can be another hour
add to that half an hour of maths for each class, some biology class, some geography class, science, nature...
i cant tell you about hours for sure, but i tell you that i filled 2 T H I C C notebooks just from spansih homework in a year

It's a thing everywhere you idiot, rampant nepotism. It's even worse in East Asia. Genuinely, you are better off inserting yourself into certain circles of people and gaining friendships amongst a wide range of people than going to university or actually putting in any real work.
>>
>>79465720
in ireland and USA it seems easier to "just get a job" without having to need contacts
>>
>>79466071
Dunno about Ireland but definitely not USA.
>>
>>79465720
In Germany it is not like this
>>
>>79466265
I highly doubt that, though it maybe a lot better compared to an extremely monopolistic and hierarchical place like Japan.

It's not necessarily overt though, just knowing of a job or being associated with an opportunity in some way helps and counts.
>>
I feel the same way. I studied hard but it got me nowhere and now I feel like a failure. I think I'll start writing books to sell them on amazon for 3 dollars.
>>
>>79466853
The writing is the easy part. The marketing is the hard part.
>>
>>79463575
I remember how my teachers used to complain because they knew we had too much homework, but it was their job to assign it for us. High school years were the shittiest years of my life. Now that I'm finishing my grade I can say for certain that homework didn't help at all.
>>
>ignore homework
>scape school as much i could
>smoking since 14
>bring alcohol to school
>throw up and pass out because i was 16 and drank half a bottle of vodka in school
>got expel
>shitty band and mmorpg to kill time
>19
>did the government test to finish hight school
Was fun while it lasted.
