Do other countries barbecue?

shops go out of their way to throw stuff on sale and devote entire aisles to BBQ food when a heatwave is predicted. It's predictably dry and sunny for about two weeks a year here, so that's the only time we can really cook outside

Yes, all the time in summer weekends, but also in warmer winter days.

South America also does great things. Brazilian Barbecue is great, at least.

Mexico shares a lot of its bbq with Texas, though Texas has German and Southern influence

Grilling meat outside is older than bread mate. Like Smoking it or rubbing sauce on it. It would be easier to find countries than don't.

We do, in some days of the year like 1st of may and 15th of august the whole country does.

Chinese BBQ is awesome but it's not exactly equivalent to what western people think about BBQ in so far as it doesn't take place outside necessarily. You do have to get used to seeing chicken heads and pig heads a part of the experience.

Reminder Americans will NEVER EVER be good at BBQs.
