literally nothing will ever be as efficient as oil, it is what created modern civilization and made all of this possible. everything you see around you is almost solely powered and maintained by oil.
coal, natural gasses, wind power, all of these are pretty much negligible next to oil and won't even be able to keep our current civilization going for an hour.
