They are different case than slavic or germanic langs. We have a couple of language sub groups, like kypchak (my language), oghuz (turks), karluk, bulgar, etc. Its kinda hard for me to understand oghuz for instance. Karluk is more similar. Bulgar, chuvashes language is probably the most unique and non understandable. We, tatars, have some words from bulgar but not a lot.
